Visiting The Field Museum
Don’t look past Chicago this winter season for some indoor activities – and to get the stir crazy kids out of the house! One of our favorites in nearby Museum Campus is The Field Museum of Natural History, which is one of the world’s premier natural history institutions.
You’ll be greeted in the main hall by SUE, the largest, most preserved, and most complete Tyrannosaurus rex in the world! Throughout the Museum you’ll see mummies, preserved artifacts and thousands of natural history items.
The Field Museum is known for its unique and fascinating rotating exhibitions, and has launched 15 since 2000. Today, Jurassic World: the Exhibition is based on the famous blockbusters and allows you and the family to get an unbelievable immersive experience with scenes inspired by the series.
