The Field Museum
Find tattoos intriguing? Maybe you even have a few of your own? The Field Museum is featuring a special exhibit called Tattoo until the end of April 2017. This exhibit explores the meaning of tattoos, artistic styles, tools and global traditions. Live Tattoo Demos bring the exhibit to life – performed by master artists from all over the country.
The Shedd Aquarium
The featured exhibit at the Shedd Aquarium is – Amphibians. Showcasing 40 different species of frogs, toads and salamanders, this exhibit is sure to peak your interest. Learn about their habits, how climate change is disrupting their homes and what you can do to help. A great way to spend your afternoon!
Last but not least – explore the solar system and take a walk through space at the Adler Planetarium. Be sure to check out their new feature show – Planet Nine. It features an up close look at Pluto and new discoveries made about the planet.
