April is Hyatt’s Global Month of Community Service, and we have set a goal of completing 25,000 community service hours to help the people, environment, and communities around us. One of our community efforts this month is a Book Drive benefiting Better World Books running now through May 15th, 2016.
Donate your new or used literature of any kind to our lobby drop box located next to our Concierge Desk. Drop off that book you finished reading on the plane, or send us all of your old college text books (what are you really going to do with them anyway?). All literature will then be sorted & donated to underprivileged school and libraries or resold to fund literacy programs. To date, Better World Books has repurposed over 210 million books and raised over $20 million for literacy.
The Hyatt Global Month of Community Service is part of of Hyatt Thrive, Hyatt’s commitment to our people, our planet, and our communities.
