Meet Daily Grind Fresh Market & In Room Dining Manager, Andrea Goldberg. Andrea graduated from Purdue University in 2011 with experience as an intern at a prominent Indianapolis hotel as well as a Banquet Captain at Purdue University’s Catering & Events department.
In June 2012, Andrea joined the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place family in our Banquet department as an office coordinator. Andrea managed payrolls for a staff of 80+ banquet servers and convention services members as well as assisting with event logistics, menus, labels, decor, and ensuring meeting planner satisfaction.
Andrea’s hard work in the Banquet Department paid off last August when she was promoted to manager our In-Room-Dining department and Daily Grind Market. Be sure to stop Daily Grind or order from In-Room-Dining when staying in the hotel. Andrea’s team is always doing fun specials and offers to guests and look out for free samples by some of their Made-In Chicago locally sourced vendors such as Sweet Margy’s Confections and Ruth & Phil’s Gourmet Ice Cream.
